Anjelica Fahey, Psy.D.

Background: Dr. Anjelica Fahey is a licensed psychologist at Life Insight and a certified school psychologist in New Jersey. Her areas of specialty include treating individuals and their families struggling with (but not limited to) anxiety, specific phobia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, and ADHD. Moreover, Dr. Fahey has obtained specific training in exposure and response prevention and has completed extensive work providing diagnostic evaluations such as comprehensive psychological, psychoeducational, and neuropsychological evaluations. Dr. Fahey believes in fostering a supportive and comfortable environment for her patients in order to help them achieve their goals.
 

Education & Training: Dr. Fahey graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a B.A. in Psychology. She then obtained her Psy.D. in school psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Dr. Fahey has worked as a school psychologist for Northern Valley Regional High School District located in Demarest, NJ as well as the Hillsborough Public School District located in Hillsborough, NJ. She has served as a member of the child study team, working with children and adolescents with a variety of difficulties including ADHD, OCD, learning disorders, depression, and anxiety. She maintains extensive knowledge on IEP and 504 processes. She conducted psychological and educational evaluations as part of the child study team and provided counseling services to students. She also completed her pre-doctoral training through the Wellness Center at Pascack Valley High School located in Hillsdale, NJ as well as her post-doctoral fellowship at Life Insight Center.
 

About Me: Dr. Fahey values family time, especially spending time with her husband and two children. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, traveling, being outdoors, and taking trips to the beach. Dr. Fahey has a strong appreciation for the arts and enjoys visiting the Met with her family.
