High school students who experience anxiety, stress, and negative thinking related to academic performance.
• Identify anxiety triggers, challenges and negative thought patterns
• Explore the impact of test stress
• Learn strategies to decrease anxiety
• Identify and break free from cycles of procrastination and avoidance
• Increase confidence
• Learn how to establish pre-test routines to reduce anticipatory anxiety
• Recognize worry and cognitive distortions while setting realistic expectations
Christina Gallin is committed to providing compassionate and effective counseling services to individuals, families and groups facing a range of challenges. She maintains a background in psychology and extensive training in therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy. She has experience facilitating weekly groups covering topics such as strategies for symptom management, mindfulness, and enhancing self-esteem.
