He has worked in anxiety-specialty clinics for 10 years and has particular expertise in evidence-based treatments for social anxiety, separation anxiety, generalized anxiety, specific phobias, and OCD, including exposure and response prevention (ERP). Dr. Georgiadis has a special focus in the treatment of selective mutism, and is passionate about coordinating between caregivers and schools to support children in using their brave voice in school and in the community.

Dr. Georgiadis maintains a wide range of training in the treatment of early childhood anxiety concerns and utilizes a parent-coaching approach to help children/adolescents strengthen skills and flexibility, while supporting caregivers in building the confidence to promote their child’s development at home and in the community. His clinical work emphasizes collaboration and shared decision-making to support youth and families in creating lasting change. In addition to CBT and ERP, Dr. Georgiadis has extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and frequently incorporates DBT principles such as mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness into treatment. He also provides behavioral parent training for families navigating early childhood disruptive behavior concerns.
